Luther “Buddy” Lott, Jr. – President and Chief Executive Officer
Buddy’s journey with Lott Oil began at a young age when he started working as a driver. As he attended Northwestern State University, he gradually took on more responsibilities within the company, eventually following in the footsteps of his father, Luther Lott, Sr., and becoming President in 1979. Under Buddy’s leadership, Lott Oil has experienced significant growth and success.
Buddy has been a committed leader in the industry, serving on the Louisiana Oil Marketers and Convenience Store Association, including a term as president in 2008. He has also been an active member of the Chevron Texaco National Distributor Advisory Council and the Mobil™ Distributor Advisory Board.
An avid fisherman, Buddy enjoys spending his free time on the water and values quality moments with his family.
Kim Lott – Senior Vice President
With more than 40 years of experience at Lott Oil, Kim plays a pivotal role in overseeing payroll, Lott Gaming Operations, and managing licenses and renewals. Her deep knowledge and dedication ensure the company’s operations run smoothly and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Northwestern State University. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys traveling with her family and unwinding with a good book.
Dan Broderick – Chief Financial Officer
With over 35 years of experience at Lott Oil, Dan plays a critical role in managing the company’s financial operations. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of the financial accounting system, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Dan also provides strategic financial insights to the board of directors, delivering key reports on company performance and financial health.
In addition to his financial leadership, Dan serves as a trustee for Lott Oil’s employee benefit plans, overseeing 401(k) programs, health reimbursement accounts, and other employee benefits. He holds degrees in Accounting, Computer Science, Computer Technology, and Aviation Science from Northwestern State University.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys his time as a stable hand at Thunder Run Ranch and shares his passion for aviation as a flight instructor.
Mark Massia – Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer of Lott Oil Company, Mark oversees daily operations, ensuring seamless execution across both the wholesale and retail divisions. With a strong focus on efficiency, strategic planning, and operational excellence, he plays a vital role in driving the company’s continued growth and success.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Northwestern State University and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching sports, relaxing on the river, and savoring a good glass of bourbon.
Sam Cedars – Director of Retail Operations
With over 30 years of experience in the retail industry, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Lott Oil’s retail operations. He is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality standards, and overseeing the overall appearance of the company’s retail locations. In addition to driving profitable sales, Sam plays a key role in developing policies and procedures, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring company expectations are met through strong execution.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife, Frances, and their son, Landon. He is also an avid guitarist and a dedicated gym-goer.
Matt Lachney – Director of Purchasing
Michael Lott – Director of Wholesale Operations
As Director of Wholesale at Lott Oil, Michael oversees all aspects of the company’s wholesale operations. He is responsible for managing key customer relationships, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of products across Lott Oil’s territory. Michael works closely with the sales team to develop strategies that drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and maintain the company’s commitment to quality and service.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Kelsy, and their daughter, Emery.
Camille Lott – Director of Marketing
As Marketing Director at Lott Oil, Camille leads the strategic marketing initiatives for both the company’s wholesale operations and its retail division, Shop A Lott. With five years of experience at Lott Oil, Camille plays a key role in brand development, customer engagement, and driving growth. Her expertise in marketing strategy, digital outreach, and community engagement helps reinforce Lott Oil’s reputation for excellence.
Camille holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University.
Beyond the office, Camille enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time at the lake with her dogs.
Butch Parnell – Director of Sales
As Director of Sales at Lott Oil, Butch has played a crucial role in fostering customer loyalty and implementing sales policies that drive satisfaction. He oversees commercial, wholesale, retail fuel, and lube sales across Lott Oil’s entire territory. His responsibilities include hiring and training team members, developing strategic sales plans, evaluating performance, and creating processes that align with sales goals and marketing objectives while managing budgets effectively.
Before joining Lott Oil over ten years ago, Butch spent 15 years with Coca-Cola, gaining invaluable experience in the sales industry.
Outside of work, Butch enjoys relaxing at the lake and spending quality time with his family. He is also an avid fisherman, hunter, and traveler.
Steven Solomon – Director of Accounting
As Director of Accounting at Lott Oil, Steven plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively. He oversees companywide purchasing and monitors inventory levels to maintain seamless operations.
Before joining Lott Oil, Steven served as the Director of Business Affairs for the Natchitoches Parish School Board, where he gained valuable experience in financial management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northwestern State University.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Tori, and their three children—Gavin, Zoey, and Liam.
